I received the good news a while back that one of my images has been selected as a finalist in the Getaway Magzine Gallery. It was printed in the October issue. This was to date my first image taken to print and I am looking forward to many more.
I took this shot on the St Blaize hiking trail in Mossel Bay early one morning just before sunrise. It was a haze morning with not much happening with the few clouds in the sky. I was hoping for something more dramatic but things turned out to be rather dull at the end.
Canon 60D, Sigma 10-20 f4-5.6 EX DG HSM, f11, ISO 100, Manfrotto tripod with ball head. I blended three exposures using the luminosity blending technique.
I will also soon be adding some new posts about a recent maternity shoot and a fantastic newborn shoot with a long standing client and friend.
