A while back I was approached by Miss N’s mom to do a shoot for her daughter. After meeting with them we planned on meeting but exams came along and we had to postpone for a short while. On top of that winter slowly crept up from behind and sunrise happens later which means it is still quite chilly even an hour after sunrise.
This did however give us an opportunity to do something other than the normal bikini or short-dress-high-heels model shoot. Living in Mossel Bay does have an advantage though in that our winters are relatively mild which does help. We headed out to a popular spot in Mossel Bay which delivers lovely filtered light, a woody and bush look but still close enough to get a hot cup of take away coffee. At first we had a battle with the light as it was coming through at weird and strange angles but got that sorted quickly. I was using my 70-200 f4 lens and had a loan 17-85 lens as my Sigma had given up on me.
(I subsequently purchased the Canon 24-70L) See my big smile 🙂
We got some lovely shots and I look forward to possible doing another shoot for them with the next assignment she receives from the agency.
Thanks for the opportunity.
Cheers all and have a good weekend. Another “cousins shoot” tomorrow morning.
