Nguni cattle have long been the mainstay of the Zulu culture. Prized and admired for their beautifully patterned hides, they are, in my mind, the most beautiful cattle in the world.
They are special to South Africa. A strong breed with high resistance to disease and valued for their low maintenance costs.
The Nguni have looks, personality and are tough. Every time I see them through my lens, they take my mind captive and I find myself wondering what to do next.
As a personal project they have become a second love to my property photography.
